Where My Story Starts
I was a hairdresser in a previous lifetime and always wanted to be a celebrant, but after having breast cancer in 2008 & leukemia in 2023, it taught me to go for it and do whatever makes you happy!
I have written two books sharing my cancer journeys and have done a bucketload of public speaking over the years, so I knew I had it in me; I just needed to believe it and take the leap.
I studied to gain my qualification of Certificate IV in Celebrancy and became registered in early 2024. The day I resigned from my busy 9-to-5 job, I received my registration. It was a sign, and it was meant to be!
So here I am living out my dream and getting to be a part of people’s lives on the most special days, whether that be a wedding, a vow renewal, or being able to guide those through saying goodbye to their loved ones at a funeral. Whatever the event, I feel honoured to be a part of it.
