I see funerals as an important event to celebrate and an honour to be a part of.
I love being able to make a difference to a family’s grief experience. I bring sensitivity and compassion to all funeral ceremonies as well as respect for the way you want to celebrate your loved one with a tailored ceremony. As a rapport is developed between your family, friends, and myself, your loved one’s story is then turned into a ceremony that is compassionate, deeply personal, entertaining, and unforgettable.
My warm nature, combined with a compassionate heart, the understanding of grief, and even my sense of humour make me able to conduct funerals with confidence. I read people well and consider it an honour and privilege to sit with others through their individual experience after their loss and a privilege to create the most fitting way to say goodbye to their loved one. Creating someone’s funeral is both a humbling and beautiful thing to do.
What is included?
- I am available to meet with family to hear endearing stories and memories of your loved one. I work with you to create a ceremony that reflects the person and provides a space for the grieving to continue and the healing to progress.
- It is a wonderful privilege to create a eulogy, and I am also available to guide and support family members or friends to write it themselves and also deliver it at the ceremony, if required.
- I am always on hand to provide a calming presence, warmth, and care for you and your family.
